Hey all!
I figured that it'd been a looong time since I submitted anything that wasn't Dead Days related, so here's a quick drawing of my ooooold ninja character Alcander that I created some 4 years ago. Man, I haven't drawn this guy in over a year, but he's still fun to visit from time to time.
Those of you who have skimmed my gallery might remember a really bad and pretentious 7-page Alcander comic I did back in late 2002. It was a really lame attempt at a Frank Miller-y ninja story which was actually really fun to do and different from any of the stuff I've done before or since. And for that reason, this guy holds a special place in my heart. Good times they were! Anyhoo, it's just a shadow drawing enhanced by the magic of photoshop. Enjoy if you want! It's something different. Expect a new Dead Days soon! Thanks for watching peeps.

HOLY SHIT! CHAINSAMURAI IS THE COOLEST GUY EVER... right beside Alcander of course. He would TOTALLY be an awesome adversary for my Ninja! I smell a collab!

Very nice. I really like how the shadows of the muscles make up the bulk of the lines. Nicely done

Really nice peice, man. Lovin' that twinge of frank miller style/flava. Sothin' I could never really crasp... those hard contrasts and having the form still feel complete. But hell, looks like you've got it down just fine, my friend.
