Hey all!
I figured that it'd been a looong time since I submitted anything that wasn't Dead Days related, so here's a quick drawing of my ooooold ninja character Alcander that I created some 4 years ago. Man, I haven't drawn this guy in over a year, but he's still fun to visit from time to time. Those of you who have skimmed my gallery might remember a really bad and pretentious 7-page Alcander comic I did back in late 2002. It was a really lame attempt at a Frank Miller-y ninja story which was actually really fun to do and different from any of the stuff I've done before or since. And for that reason, this guy holds a special place in my heart. Good times they were! Anyhoo, it's just a shadow drawing enhanced by the magic of photoshop. Enjoy if you want! It's something different. Expect a new Dead Days soon! Thanks for watching peeps. -John P.S. Past Alcander drawings and the goofy 7 page comics can be found on this search: [link] |

I can't do this all on my own.
It's the ninja every kid wants to be at least once in their lifetime.
I like how the darks fade towards the bottom. It's a cool effect. Very nice.
