Hey all!
I figured that it'd been a looong time since I submitted anything that wasn't Dead Days related, so here's a quick drawing of my ooooold ninja character Alcander that I created some 4 years ago. Man, I haven't drawn this guy in over a year, but he's still fun to visit from time to time.
Those of you who have skimmed my gallery might remember a really bad and pretentious 7-page Alcander comic I did back in late 2002. It was a really lame attempt at a Frank Miller-y ninja story which was actually really fun to do and different from any of the stuff I've done before or since. And for that reason, this guy holds a special place in my heart. Good times they were! Anyhoo, it's just a shadow drawing enhanced by the magic of photoshop. Enjoy if you want! It's something different. Expect a new Dead Days soon! Thanks for watching peeps.

i remember him. Doesn’t he constantly bleed do to a curse or something like that? he is pretty wicked though.

Man, I can't agree with you more. If I ever do another Alcander comic, it's definitely going to be a bit funner, both in writing and delivery. I just need to find the time!

Awwesoommme.
It's the ninja every kid wants to be at least once in their lifetime.
I like how the darks fade towards the bottom. It's a cool effect. Very nice.

this looks really really cool john! maybe it was worth you not watching the first episode of friends with me! haha. seriously though, its really cool. you should do more stuff like this. why do boys like ninjas so much? it is so mysterious. the red really adds to it. this looks very sin city!

but in mky case, even if i found the time, i wouldnt have the talent.
im hoping for cartoon network to buy my idea.
