Most people think Marv is crazy, but I don't believe that.
I'm no shrink and I'm not saying I've got Marv all figured out or anything, but "crazy" just doesn't explain him. Not to me. Sometimes I think he's retarded, a big, brutal kid who never learned the ground rules about how people are supposed to act around each other. But that doesn't have the right ring to it either.
No, it's more like there's nothing wrong with Marv, nothing at all-- except that he had the rotten luck of being born at the wrong time in history. He'd be right at home on some ancient battlefield, swinging an ax into somebody's face. Or in a roman arena, taking a sword to other gladiators like him.
They'd have tossed him girls like Nancy, back then.

P.S. The majesty that will be SIN CITY directed by the Man Robert Rodriguez, the Man Frank Miller and guest director, the Miggity-Man, Quentin Tarantino opens on April 1st. Goddamn it you all better be there supporting great moments in history like this one.

i apriciate the style and heavy shaddowing. it looks very cool, but i do like the foreground figure a lot more than the silouete in the back. it actually took me a bit of time to figure out what was going on back there. maybe it's just me. it's a cool piece though

Anguished cry of Australian! Apparently it'll be here on May 12, but I've been shitted off by movies before - like Hellboy. I bought a completely legit US DVD of Hellboy, which shipped two weeks late, and it still beat Hellboy opening at Australian theatres by three days.

yah man i just saw the trailer for that bad ass lookin film....i havent read the comics but the movie looks AMAZING, and what a cast....cant freakin wait, especially if were gonna get more fanart from yah :) nice work as always

i have yet to read the damn books. but im dying for it.

but i agree with you. i predict that sin city the movie will be the best comic book adaptation ever. even surpassing burton's mighty batman.

Marv is my favorite Sin City Character. I refused to get stoked about the movie though, I don't want to get my hopes up in case it sucks.
