Um, so my sister wanted a painting of a doggy with a cone on his head for her friend. So I drew her a cute cartoon doggy. She said, "NO! I WANT A PAINTING DAMMIT!" I sighed and pulled out my oil pastels, dusted them off and told her, "THIS IS THE BEST YOUR GONNA GET FROM ME WOMAN!" and churned this piece out in a little under 2 hours. I hadn't used my oil pastels in a loooooong time, so I wasn't sure how well this was gonna turn out. But I guess some stuff never leaves you. I'm pretty happy of the piece all things considering. If anything, it's something different on my site for you to look at. Enjoy!

And I love that movie sooooo much...but i was mighty impressed by the way you use the pastel, beautiful line work this work is now one of my faverites!
it's really grat to see one's art piece that is totally not in phase with the rest of his gallery ...
You could have been mre foolish with the colors (putting purple and violet and blue in the dogs shadows, to show more the volume ...)
But anyway it's an excellent work, and you show you can master more than one medium
