Here's a quick piece I did for the paper running this Monday. Someone wrote a column about how America's common sense and morals are going down the crapper and how becoming more accountable for our own and each others actions is the only way to save ourselves before it's TOO LATE!
He mentions the Elizabeth Smart (a young girl who was abducted by a cult and wasy molested and brainwashed for 9 months before someone spotted her and reported her) interview and how her parents are on TV trying to hype it. Since when do parents go on TV and promote a special about their daughters traumatic kidnapping, brainwashing, sexually assulting experience? Does that sound wrong to anyone else? It does to me.
Anyway, he spouts off about a bunch of other crud that America is doing that would not have happened a few years ago, because we're loosing our accountability and common sense. Interesting.
So once again, here's me trying to solve my assignment creatively. I dunno if I succeeded, but I think it looks pretty anyway, so here it is. Enjoy! Thanks for lookin!

With the amount of jornalists pointing fingers at anything that isn't relivant, this is a breath of fresh air. Very nice, very procative, and this is going on my favourties.
That silly movie was actually filmed at my university. *shame*
Jesus, why are they marketing off of their own personal tragedy? Elizabeth isn't a piece of celebrity flesh for people to blow out of proportion, she's a real little girl with a real traumatic experience and will have to go through years of real therapy in order to really recover. The whole thing sickens me. Way to go, John, you hit the nail on the hammer once again!

But where was it when I first heard
That sweet sound of humility
It came to my ears in the
Goddamned loveliest melody
